The calculators, explanations, tables and other content on this site are for general information and education. Results are estimates. They are based on the inputs you give, the assumptions stated on each page, and published figures, such as tax brackets. Those figures can change.

Your actual taxes, paycheck, loan terms or investment returns depend on facts we don't know. Your full tax situation is one. Local taxes are another. You may quote short excerpts with a link back to the source page. Tax rates, formulas and other facts are not ours. The official sources we cite are still the authority.

The site links to official sources. It also shows ads from Google AdSense and its partners. We don't control third-party websites, products or ads. We don't endorse them or take responsibility for them. How the ads use cookies is described in our privacy policy.

8. Changes to the site and these terms

We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time. We may also update these terms. When we do, the effective date above will change. If you keep using the site after an update, you accept the revised terms.
